Six Nations: Andrew Trimble on taking his Irish opportunity

After a recent absence in a green jersey, Andrew Trimble is under no illusions about taking his opportunity with Ireland.

Disappointed with how things fared out for the Autumn Series, the Ulster winger was recalled to the starting line-up against Scotland and scored the first Irish try in a comfortable victory.

Selected again for the game against Wales at the weekend, her is all to aware that the onus is now on to justify his selection.

“If you don’t take your chance when it comes, then it is your own fault,” the winger said.
