BRIAN O'DRISCOLL'S new book will not be released until after he retires, WRITES HUGH FARRELLY.
The Ireland captain, working his way back after shoulder surgery which has ruled him out of the Six Nations, began working on the book with award-winning author and Setanta Sports panellist Paul Kimmage a few weeks ago.
However, while it had been suggested that the book could come out later this year, Kimmage says O'Driscoll does not want it published while he is still playing.
"It's not going to appear until he's finished," confirmed Kimmage. "He's adamant about that. It won't be published until he's finished his career.
"We've been working on it for a couple of weeks now. It's incredibly flattering to be asked to do it. He's one of our genuine superstars. I've never worked with a superstar before and it will be interesting.
"I feel a responsibility more than a pressure to do him justice."
