Rob Kearney reacted to his Leinster team mate's selection with four exclamation marks.

Ian Madigan let the world know his selection for the fantasyrugger.com and it didn't take long for it to glean some reaction from his fellow players at Carton House.

Ireland captain Paul O'Connell and vice-captain Jamie Heaslip are the only members of Joe Schmidt's side to make the starting team, even though Madigan has the option of selecting five players from a particular reaction.

Rob Kearney tweeted: "@Ian_madigan backing Ireland to go well so!!!!"

The Mad's Maverick's team has two Italians, two Scots, two Welsh, three English and four French players included.

Among the Irish players to miss out were Jonny Sexton (although he does miss the first match) and Rob Kearney himself.

Controversial choices.
