Ireland and England both made it two wins from two this weekend, but the BBC only deemed Jonathan Sexton fit to make their team of the weekend.

A sterling defensive effort saw Joe Schmidt's overcome France at the Aviva, while England also made it two wins from two as they easily saw off the challenge of Italy at Twickenham.

BBC pundit Jeremy Guscott picked his Six Nations Team of the Weekend and surprisingly there was only Irish representative despite the heroic victory.

Sexton was given the number 10 jersey, but there was no place for any other member of Schmidt's side.

England (2), France (2), Scotland (2), Wales (5) and even Italy (3) have more in the side than Schmidt's undefeated side.

Jeremy Guscott's selection:

Leigh Halfpenny, Youann Huget, Luca Morisi, Alex Dunbar, Jonathan Joseph, Johnny Sexton, Rory Kockott; Joe Marler, Ross Ford, Aaron Jarvis, George Fabio Biagi, Alun Wyn Jones, Dan Lydiate, Sam Warbuton, Sergio Parisse.
