What a day, what a performance by Ireland. Joe Schmidt's side reclaimed the Six Nations championship and here is what the experts made of it all.

Shane Horgan

It was privilege to watch that Ireland performance, a remarkable performance from Ireland. There was a lot of talk in this Six Nations that attacking rugby is dead, but it is alive and kicking.

Ireland were incredible today.

Ronan O'Gara

After the performance of Wales we didn’t think it was possible what we saw today. It was great to be Irish. There could have been 10, 15, 20,000 Irish people here in Edinburgh, the place was buzzing. Unbelievable.

Conor O'Shea

You learn about people in adversity, and in adversity Ireland have rebounded in an unbelievable manner. Not to sulk, not to mope, not to trudge around, to deliver a performance. It was magnificent.

Will Greenwood

In amongst the euphoria of an incredible day any @EnglandRugby fans feel like we missed an unbelievable opportunity today?

Gordon D'Arcy

Never give up.. From @jamieheaslip possibly the most important tackle of his life

Tony Ward

What a day, what a coach, what a captain, what a group of players and what truly fantastic Irish support. Thank you Joe, thank you Paulie, thank you lads. Go raibh maith agaibh go leir.
