Sean O'Brien makes his Leinster return this weekend - but not in the Champions Cup

Flanker Sean O'Brien is set to be unleashed onto the field for the first time since February tomorrow afternoon but he will be far away from the glamour Champions Cup tie at the RDS.

15 minutes before the Leinster team take on Castres in their European opener, O'Brien will run out on the field for Leinster A's fixture with Richmond in London.

O'Brien hasn't played in eight months, with the Tullow Tank's last appearance coming in Ireland's Six Nations loss to France at the start of the year.

A hamstring injury cut his day short in Paris after 15 minutes and sidelined him for the rest of last season as well as for Ireland's summer tour to South Africa.

In another boost for Leinster coach Leo Cullen, Jack Conan also returns from injury to play with the second team.
