Old rivals Christian Brothers College and Presentation Brothers College will have to do it all over again following a pulsating draw in the Munster Schools Junior Cup at Irish Independent Park.
Early pressure on the PBC line saw Ronan O'Sullivan land CBC's first score after five minutes.
PBC responded immediately and where rewarded when quick-footed Michael Hand danced through to level the game.
CBC fought back and won a penalty 20 metres out, which George Coomber kicked. Then, on the stroke of the half, a late burst of energy saw Conor Morey slide down the right-hand flank to give PBC a 12-8 half-time lead.
Following a meek opening to the second half, CBC regained their lead. Intense pressure on the PBC try-line led to Robbie Kelleher charging through to put them 13-12 ahead, Coomber giving the Sidney Hill school breathing space thanks to an excellent conversion.
But with five minutes remaining, Alex Walsh brought the game back level with an excellent penalty kick from 15 yards out.
In the final stages PBC pressed but could not muster a winning score, leaving everything to play for once again next week.
