Murphy's double decisive

Two tries from full-back Rory Murphy helped Castletroy College into the semi-final of this competition at UL yesterday.
Murphy's scores proved to be the difference against a battling St Clement's team. Robert Magill's try against the run of play gave Castletroy an early lead but Dylan Counihan levelled the scores on 28 minutes.
Murphy responded with his first try of the game and then sealed Castletroy's last-four spot when he scored again in the second half.
Clement's dominated the opening 10 minutes but couldn't score and Magill capitalised soon after, his try converted by Andrew Shanahan. St Clement's hunted for an equalising score immediately but had to wait until near half-time to level the game when Counihan snaffled a messy lineout and powered over the line.
Evan Barrett added the extras but a knock-on from the resultant kick-off handed Castletroy a scrum and Murphy went over after a neat backline move.
Castletroy bossed the second half and sealed the win when Shanahan and Andrew Rowesome combined to put Murphy in for the decisive score.
