Butler has final say in league stalemate

A last-gasp try from Wilson's scrum-half Philip Butler ensured there was no silverware handed over yesterday in the Senior Section 'A' League final.

Newpark dominated territorially in the first half and flanker Sean Reynolds was shunted over the line by his fellow forwards just before the break to make it 8-3, after Richard McMickan (for Wilson's) and Mikey Halpin had exchanged penalties.

Wilson's improved in the second half and were twice held up over the line before Butler's try.
