Presentation Brothers College are through to the quarter-finals of the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Junior Cup after a convincing win at Irish Independent Park.

Pres broke the deadlock after four minutes when out-half Darragh French went blind side from a scrum on the Ardscoil 22 to send Daniel Hurley in for a try.

Five minutes later they doubled their lead when Hurley and French combined to set up Patrick Campbell for a try. At the end of the first quarter French made a great break for a try but Christopher Guerin replied with a penalty to make it 15-3.

Just before half-time French sent Daniel Squires in for a try which French converted. Darragh McSweeney, French (two) and Brian Anthony added tries with French and Squires converting one each.
