Munster have announced details of a special fundraising cycle from Cork to Warrington in June in aid of conditioning coach Paul Darbyshire and Motor Neurone research, writes Hugh Farrelly.
Darbyshire was diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease last September. He has continued his duties as head of strength and conditioning with Munster, but will step down at the end of the season after four years.
The cycle begins at Musgrave Park on Sunday, June 19, with the Irish stages finishing at Trinity College Dublin on Tuesday, June 21.
The cycle then moves to the UK, finishing in Warrington on Thursday, June 23. Cyclists can take part in single or multiple stages and those wishing to participate should contact Munster Rugby by telephone at 021-4323563 or by email email@example.com.
