Munster will take on Edinburgh in a PRO 14 semi-final playoff next Saturday as they look to end their season on a high note.

A chastening 27-22 defeat to Racing 92 in the Champions Cup semi-final ended their European interests for another season, however Munster's hopes of securing a first league crown since 2011 remain very much alive.

After finishing second in Conference A, Munster will now host Edinburgh at Thomond Park on Saturday May 5 at 3.15pm. The winner will travel to the RDS to face Leinster in the PRO 14 semi-final on Saturday May 19, also at 3.15pm.

Leo Cullen's side will have to refocus quickly after taking on Racing in the Champions Cup final in Blibao on Saturday May 12.

On the other side of the draw, the Scarlets will host the Cheetahs in the second semi-final playoff at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday May 5, with that game kicking off at 6.35pm.

The winner of that game will face Glasgow in Scotstoun on Friday May 18 at 7.35pm in the other PRO 14 semi-final.

The two semi-final winners will then face each other at the Aviva Stadium the following Saturday, May 26, with the game kicking off at 6.30pm.
