LEINSTER coach Joe Schmidt has named his strongest side of the season for tomorrow’s game at Edinburgh – with Brian O’Driscoll, Rob Kearney and Luke Fitzgerald all starting.

The three Lions stars have been injured for a large part of the season but return to action just over a month before Ireland’s Six Nations campaign is set to begin.

Kearney is named in a dangerous-looking back three alongside Fitzgerald and Fionn Carr, with O'Driscoll partnering his long-term midfield partner Gordon D'Arcy for the RaboDirect game at Murrayfield.

Leo Cullen captains the side, which includes Cian Healy, Jamie Heaslip and Sean O'Brien in the pack.

Shane Jennings has recovered from illness to take his place on the bench, but Fergus McFadden is given the weekend off.

Leinster: 15 Rob Kearney, 14 Fionn Carr, 13 Brian O'Driscoll, 12 Gordon D'Arcy, 11 Luke Fitzgerald, 10 Jonathan Sexton, 9 Eoin Reddan, 1 Cian Healy, 2 Sean Cronin, 3 Mike Ross, 4 Leo Cullen, 5 Devin Toner, 6 Kevin McLaughlin, 7 Sean O'Brien, 8 Jamie Heaslip.

Subs: 16: Aaron Dundon, 17: Heinke van der Merwe, 18: Michael Bent, 19: Tom Denton, 20: Shane Jennings, 21: Isaac Boss, 22: Ian Madigan, 23: Andrew Conway.
