Leinster's Devin Toner has been ruled out of this weekend's PRO14 final with the knee injury he suffered during Saturday's victory over Munster.

The lock had to be replaced in the second-half at the RDS after falling awkwardly and was on a crutch at full-time with his left knee heavily strapped. He underwent a scan to determine the extent of the damage and the province have confirmed he is unavailable for the decider against Glasgow Warriors.

Toner has already missed a large chunk of the season having undergone ankle surgery following Ireland's opening Six Nations game against England.
