Paul O'Connell recovers early to hand Munster Heineken Cup boost
PAUL O'Connell looks on course to give Munster a major Heineken Cup boost as he returns to action next week ahead of schedule
O'Connell has played very little this season, just two games for his province, due to a debilitating injury to his lower back but is expected to make a sooner than expected return to action.
O'Connell is expected to play some part in Munster A's interprovincial clash with Leinster next Tuesday at the UL Bowl.
It is just over four weeks until Munster take on Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop on April 7 in the Heineken Cup quarter-final.
His return from injury also gives O'Connell an outside chance of making Warren Gatland's British and Irish Lions squad for the tour of Australia.
