Wasps rugby club investigates claims of 'debauchery' during end of season riverboat cruise
A prominent English rugby club enlisted a private investigator to ascertain the conduct of their players during an end of season riverboat cruise that left members of the crew in tears.
Wasps decided to investigate allegations made about some of the 42 guests who attended a party aboard the Hurlingham floating nightclub on the River Thames in May.
It is said that issues occurred when players engaged in games involving sexual forfeits with beer bottles, which have since been described as ‘weird’.
Indeed, it has been reported that a female bartender burst into tears during the ‘games’ and had to be consoled by a co-worker.
However, it has also been said that not all of the players in attendance took part in the acts in question.
In response to the claims being made the Coventry-based club hired private investigator William Merritt to establish what exactly occurred.
On board was stripper Kerri Graham, who famously performed a lap dance for Simon Cowell on Britain’s Got Talent. Graham, 47, admitted to putting on a ‘risqué’ performance for a number of the Wasps players.
She revealed this to Mail on Sunday: “It would be classed as a risqué naughty show and only the type of show you would do in front of a group of men.”
