Sonny Bill Williams could be on his way back to free-spending Toulon - report
Reports in France have linked two-time World Cup winning centre Sonny Bill Williams with a second stint at French giants Toulon.
Having trained with them since the beginning of the year, Williams will line out for the New Zealand 7s at Olympic Games in Rio, though what the code-hopping star will do after is yet to be confirmed.
It is generally thought that he would not return his most recent club, the Chiefs, and in turn, the All Blacks.
There has also been rumours of the sometime boxer coming back to the NRL and former club the Roosters, whose head coach Brain Canavan has been quoted in Australia as being very open to such a developmet.
However, La Provence in France are claiming that Williams could be on his way back to the south of France for a second spell with Toulon, the three-in-a-row European champions.
Employed by Mourad Boudjellal from 2008-10, Williams would take his place among the plethora of stars already in situ there, including compatriot Ma'a Nonu and, of course, Paul O'Connell.
