England rugby international blasted by team-mate over 'bad values' after charity snub
England international Christian Wade has been criticised by his Wasps teammate Andy Goode for breaking his promise to attend a charity event.
Wade allegedly said he would attend an event held to support the Matt Hampson foundation, a charity set up by and named after the former England U21 and Leicester Tigers prop who was paralysed following an accident on the rugby field, on Wednesday.
But Wade, 23, did not show up for the event, prompting an angry rebuke from Goode on social media:
Wade has not responded directly to Goode's allegation, although he did tweet his support of the event on Thursday afternoon
Goode, also a former England international, is joining London Irish this summer.
