Rory Collins converted a Henry Buttimer try to dash hopes of an all-Limerick final and seal Rockwell's one-point win over Crescent.

The Tipperary side could not have wished for a better start as they scored a try after just three minutes thanks to Darius Achimugu, which out-half Collins converted.

Crescent got on the scoreboard when Conor O'Halloran landed a penalty despite the wind.

By half-time Crescent led 13-7 with captain Conal Henchy touching down.

However, Buttimer's try gave Rockwell a winning opportunity, which the reliable Collins converted.
