Munster won't switch DESPITE hurling CLASH

Munster say they have no plans to change their Pro12 match with the Dragons despite it clashing with the All-Ireland hurling final replay between Cork and Clare.

Munster are scheduled to take on the Welsh side at Musgrave Park in Cork on Saturday, September 28 at 6.45, just as the hurling final replay in Croke Park is coming to an end.

The rugby game is also scheduled to be shown on RTE as well as the Welsh language station S4C.

The attendance at the rugby match is bound to be impacted by the game in Croke Park but Munster have no plans at this stage to change the fixture.

"The match is going ahead as scheduled," said a spokesperson for Munster.

It will be Munster's second home game of the season, with Rob Penney's men away in Italy for the next two weekends against Zebre and Treviso.
