Watch: Munster fans in Paris remember Anthony Foley with poignant rendition of The Fields of Athenry

Munster fans are rallying around each other in Paris as the Red Army tries to process the news of the tragic passing of head coach Anthony Foley at just 42.

Foley was found dead in the team hotel ahead of Munster Champions Cup opener with Racing 92, with the fans in attendance at the ground paying their respects to the legendary player in a special way outside the Stade Yves du Manoir.

The Munster supporters who were gathered around the ground broke into a very emotional rendition of The Fields of Athenry, a ballad that Foley would have heard a countless number of times during his lengthy tenure at Thomond Park as both a player and a coach.

Earlier, sports stars and fans from around the country paid emotional tributes to Foley online.
