Expect to see plenty of Munster's younger players get their chance to shine in the coming weeks - that's the message from head coach Johann van Graan ahead of their season opener against Dragons at Thomond Park tomorrow.
Munster are currently shorn of 12 first-team squad members who are away representing Ireland at the Rugby World Cup, while a handful of injuries for those remaining will give a few more chances to impress.
"We will use the first block of games to expose some of our younger guys," said van Graan.
"Two years ago we tried to change the mindset of these players to want to play for Ireland as well as Munster, to get 50 caps for Ireland and that has been our focus.
"Munster is built on ability and home-grown players. You will always have foreign players and Irish players from different parts but we will always build on players from Munster."
