Munster Rugby are currently running blitz days throughout the province for U-15 secondary school pupils attending non-traditional rugby playing schools.

Twelve teams took part in the one-day event at Mahon with in excess of 200 players competing.

Schools that took part on the day were Carragaline CS, Midleton CBS, St Colman's Midelton, St Colman's Fermoy, Davis College Mallow, Ballincollig CS, Douglas CS, Coláiste Choilm Ballincolllig, St Fanahans Mitchelstown and SMG Blarney.

The programme has been rolled out throughout the province and will continue over the next few weeks. It is hoped the pupils who take part will continue to participate at their local club.
