The future is bright

Brian Scott (second year academy)

I was born in Cork, and I started playing rugby at age six. I instantly had a love for the game.

I first played rugby with Dolphin, my current club, before moving to Highfield and then Youghal. I attended PBC and played rugby with them throughout my school years. I played both junior and senior cup rugby, just losing out on a Junior Cup title in 2008. We went on to win the Senior Cup final in 2010 and I was involved again the following year when we suffered a final defeat. I have been capped for the Irish Schools and the Irish U-20s.

Favourite Munster game: The Heineken Cup final in 2006.

Most memorable game I have played in: The Munster Schools v Ulster Schools inter-provincial in 2010 as it was my first time representing the province.

Favourite ground: I always enjoyed playing in Irish Independent Park playing numerous games for PBC and Munster there. Now that I'm back with Dolphin, it's very much a home pitch to me and I suppose I feel comfortable playing there. In saying that, playing in Thomond Park is always a great occasion also.
