1: Pre-match meal? I would usually have turkey burgers, and pasta and we have waffles, ice-cream and fruit.

2: Favourite player growing up?

Probably Jonny Wilkinson. The 2003 World Cup was one of the first things I remember and he was the star of that.

3: Best away day room-mate and why?

I live with Brian Scott here in Limerick. He is easy to get on with and we know what each other are like.

4: Who would headline your house party?

Picture This. They are a great Irish band and I just got into them in the last year. I went to see them in Cork.

5: First song they would play?

6: You win the Lotto, first thing you would buy?

I would buy a holiday to New York with a couple of friends. A few of them have been there recently and it looks unreal.

7: Favourite movie?

'The Shawshank Redemption', it's a classic.

8: Favourite TV show and why?

I just finished watching 'Ozark' on Netflix. It's a decent show.

9: Earliest rugby memory growing up?

I started playing U-8 in Clonmel RFC and we used to have this blitz at the end of the year. We got to the final and it went to a penalty shoot-out. We ended up losing, one of our last kickers missed, but it was one of the biggest things at the time.

10: Who is the joker in the dressing room?

Duncan Casey, if he is around there's usually a good laugh.

11: Favourite holiday destination and why?

I was just in New Zealand for the summer for three weeks. My sister is living there. It really lived up to the expectation.

12: Favourite away ground to play at?

I played in the Liberty Stadium in Swansea. Swansea soccer team play there so the pitch was immaculate. We were going kicking before the game and you didn't want to be digging it up.

13: Three people (dead or alive) who you would invite to your dinner party?

Jonny Wilkinson from a rugby side, Joe Rogan the MMA podcaster - he is really interesting. Joey Diaz, the comedian that he brings on is brilliant too.

14: Most memorable moment in rugby?

When we won the B&I Cup last season with the Munster 'A' team. It was brilliant. We were 18-0 down and came back. They were guys I played with all the way up and to finally win something with the 'A' team was massive.

15: Do you have any pre-match superstitions / rituals?

I don't really have any. I do a lot of kicking so I like to be out early to get that stuff done and then I can concentrate on the rest.

16: Who is the best player you have played alongside and why?

I would go with Tyler Bleyendaal. I played alongside him last year and it's just how much of a leader he is. His game management and how he can make things happen.

17: Who is the best player you have played against and why?

I played against Taulupe Falateu when he was playing for the Dragons. He was so big, fast and strong, and it was one of my first games. I had seen him on TV but in real life it was tough because he was running down my channel a bit too. It was a shock to the system.

18: Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?

I play the ukulele. I picked it up when I was injured and I have played it ever since. I used to play a lot of music, the piano, violin, the traditional stuff when I was younger. So I would be musical anyway and the ukulele is much easier than the guitar. It doesn't take as long to get used to.

19: Name three things that are always in your fridge?

Steak, Greek yoghurt and dark chocolate.

20: Best advice you ever got?

Discipline = freedom. The more disciplined you are the more freedom it actually gives you.
