Staff get on bikes to raise CROSS funds

Munster staff completed the final stage of the Rugby Legends cycle on Friday last, when they took part in the Killarney to Mizen Head stage in support of CROSS.

Following on from the successful coffee morning held in Musgrave Park, funds were raised for 12 staff members to participate in the 120km cycle in conjunction with a team from Timberland.

The group gathered at the Glen Eagle Hotel, Killarney in wet and windy conditions and headed for Moll's gap before making their way to Kenmare, then on to Bantry and finishing up at Mizen Head.

All proceeds raised will be donated to CROSS to assist in their cancer research at St James' Hospital. The mission of CROSS is to support Cancer Research and improve patient care at the Institute of Molecular Medicine, Trinity College and St James' Hospital.

The charity does this through supporting the education and training of high-quality medical and scientific students in their careers as young cancer researchers. Cross Rugby Legends was set up to raise funds for this vital cause.

All donations, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated!
