Cork Con are not back in action in Division 1A until next weekend, but last Saturday they secured the Munster Senior Cup with a 26-23 win over Garryowen.

The 1A leaders have dominated the top tier this season with eight wins from their nine games, and two tries from Joe McSwiney along with a Sean Ffrench effort ensured victory over their Limerick rivals.

Garryowen are fourth in 1A with Shannon, Young Munster and UCC in seventh, eighth and ninth respectively.

Highfield lead the way in Division 2A where they are three points and one position above Cashel in the standings. UL Bohemians are back in fourth with Dolphin sixth, Old Crescent seventh and Nenagh Ormond are ninth.

Sunday's Well are the sole Munster representative in 2B and they are seventh after nine rounds. And in 2C Midleton and Bruff are just off the pace with Thomond back in ninth.
