Reigning Munster Schools Senior Cup champions Rockwell College will host Bandon Grammar School in the first round in mid-January following this year's new-look draw.

The one draw corresponds to both Senior and Junior Cup fixtures.

In an all-Limerick first round Ard Scoil Rís, Senior Cup finalists on the last two occasions, host St Munchin's.

Glenstal Abbey entertain Castletroy College.

St Clements and High School Clonmel will battle it out next Wednesday in the qualifying round at Clanwilliam FC, with the winners going on to host PBC.

Junior Cup holders CBC travel to Crescent College Comprehensive.

Speaking at the Thomond Park launch Munster Rugby president Bertie Smith said: "Last year I saw most of the matches in both competitions and I was highly impressed with the way all teams were so positive.

"There was a very high level of skill on display both individually and on a team basis.
