Munster 'A' emphatically rebounded from a sluggish start at Castle Park to record a bonus-point victory over the Doncaster Knights that provided a garnish to winning Pool 2 with a game to spare.
Off a well-worked lineout move, No 8 Jared Williams powered over for the hosts and fly-half Simon Humberstone slotted the conversion. Going behind sparked Munster into life and their pressure told as open-side Gavin Coombes dotted down with Te Aihe Toma levelling matters from the tee going into half-time.
After the break, Malone's charges were ruthless as skipper Robin Copeland crossed over before winger Calvin Nash and replacement centre Cian Bohane each raced in for intercept tries.
Toma, who had been switched from scrum-half to the No 10 jersey, sent over the resulting conversions, before Knights' winger Sam Edgerley scored to give the scoreline a more competitive appearance.
