Racing 92 made themselves at home in their new U Arena with a powerful 58-6 win over Clermont last weekend and warmed up nicely for the arrival of Munster to Paris on Sunday.

Eight tries helped Racing to the huge victory, which featured an 80-minute outing for former Munster lock Donnacha Ryan, while Virimi Vakatawa and Benjamin Dambielle scored two tries each in a memorable victory.

A third Top 14 win in-a-row sees Racing steady in third place, but they trail leaders Montpellier by just one point at the top and enter the Champions Cup with real confidence.

Elsewhere in the Top 14, Munster's final pool opponents Castres finally ended their seven-game winning steak with an unexpected 30-3 away defeat to Agen.

Early second-half tries meant Castres were chasing the game in the third quarter but any hope of the win faded when Maama Vaipulu was sent off 17 minutes from time.

Castres currently trail Munster by eight points in Pool 4, but will fancy that they can still reach the last four if they manage to beat Leicester Tigers at Stade Pierre Fabre.

Meanwhile, Tigers returned to winning ways last weekend in English Premiership action with a key 19-15 win over relegation-threatened London Irish at Welford Road.

Manu Tuliagi bagged the key try nine minutes from time, which meant Alex Lewington's later try was not enough.
