Old rivals Garryowen and Shannon go toe-to-toe

Garryowen will look to pull clear of Limerick rivals Shannon in Division 1A of the All-Ireland League when the sides meet in a derby clash under lights at Dooradoyle this evening.

Garryowen are fifth, one point and place above Shannon in the standings, and victory for either team would put them back into contention.

Cork Con, on top after their impressive 16-13 win in Clontarf, welcome Young Munster while UCC go to Lansdowne. The big Munster derby in Division 2A sees leaders Highfield go to face Nenagh Ormond.

UL Bohemians and Dolphin clash in the other derby game on the 4G pitch at University of Limerick.

Old Crescent are away to Blackrock College and Cashel face Queen's University.

In Division 2B Sunday's Well are at home to Rainey OB. In 2C Bruff are at Malahide, Midleton host City of Derry and Thomond welcome Tullamore.
