There are always so many sub-plots when Munster play Leinster, and this PRO14 semi-final will be no different with a touring Ireland squad set to be decided.

Munster have plenty of players vying for positions along with their opposite numbers, and it's all about winning those personal battles to show Joe Schmidt they deserve a place on the plane to Australia.

There are some guys nailed on for the tour and others pushing late, players like JJ Hanrahan, Robin Copeland and James Hart who have an outside chance.

I would be surprised if Rory Scannell and Sam Arnold are not both given their chance Down Under, while Alex Wootton could be a dark horse after a brilliant season. Darren Sweetnam has been involved earlier in the campaign too.

Up front, Munster have plenty of live contenders. Dave Kilcoyne and James Cronin have every chance, Niall Scannell and Mike Sherry could be close, while John Ryan is another front-row possibility.

Billy Holland could be given another chance in the second-row, and there are plenty of possibilities in the back-row with Peter O'Mahony and CJ Stander the obvious ones.

But for me I would love to see Jack O'Donoghue given his chance after another brilliant campaign.
