O'Donnell hails the commitment and sacrifices of U-18 Clubs stars
The Munster U-18 Clubs squad were presented with their inter-provincial jerseys at the Charleville Park Hotel with their parents and coaches in attendance.
Munster and Ireland flanker Tommy O'Donnell was on hand to make the presentation and acknowledged the young players' achievements in representing their province. Tipperary man O'Donnell, who began his rugby career with Clanwilliam FC, paid tribute to the commitment and sacrifices the players have made since their selection to take part in the Munster Rugby Talent Camp right through to the recent inter-provincial series.
He also encouraged them to continue to strive to achieve their goals. He spoke of his own memories playing youth rugby and thanked the players' parents for all their support throughout the season. The night capped off a successful year for the Munster squad, which culminated in 11 players recently being selected in a 36-man Ireland U-18 Clubs squad.
