Four Munster players have been named in the Irish U-18 squad ahead of their European Championship opener against Georgia today, WRITES DECLAN ROONEY.

Munster schools champions Crescent College have one member of the squad, with winger Calvin Nash making the cut, while Paul Kiernan of PBC, and Alan McMahon and Sean O'Connor from Rockwell College also take part. Leinster will have 17 representatives, with three Connacht and Ulster two players making it into the 26-man squad chosen to travel to Poland by head coach Noel McNamara.

Ireland's final match of the championship will take place tomorrow week.. The other nations in this division include England, Wales, France, Scotland, Italy, Georgia and Portugal. The team is coached by McNamara, Mark Butler (backs), Brian Robinson (forwards) and former Munster scrum coach, Paul McCarthy.
