Munster continue winning run with impressive seven try rout of Treviso
Munster sealed an impressive 46-3 bonus-point win over Benetton Treviso in Thomond Park today.
The comprehensive victory sends the province two points clear atop the Guinness PRO12.
Treviso took the lead after seven minutes thanks to a penalty from Ian McKinley, but that was the visitors' sole score of the match.
Tyler Bleyendaal levelled the tie after 14 minutes from the tee before the home side kicked into gear.
Robin Copeland then scored Munster's first try after a five metre scrum, and two more from Andrew Conway capped off a dominant first half, with Munster leading 22-3 at the break.
Ronan O'Mahony had a hand in both of Conway's tries, and he added two of his own in the second half.
Dan O'Shea and Alex Wootton both scored a try each to cap off a successful day for the home side.
