Munster confirm signing of player who served two-year drugs ban

Munster have confirmed the signings of South African pair Chris Cloete and Gerbrandt Grobler.

Flanker Cloete arrives from Southern Kings and Pumas on a three-year deal while Grobler has signed a one-year deal from Top 14 side Racing 92..

While both signings are subject to being granted valid work permits and obtaining medical clearance, Grobler will link up with the squad during pre-season while Cloete will join the province on completion of his Currie Cup commitments.

In February 2015, Grobler was hit with a two-year ban for failing a drugs test.
