Munster A coach Peter Malone said preparing for a huge B&I Cup semi-final alongside the first team's clash has made for an exciting week in the province.
Munster A will be hoping to reach the B&I Cup final for the first time since 2012 when they host Ealing Trailfinders tonight (7.30) at Cork IT.
And Malone - who was recently appointed as the Ireland U-20 head coach - says there has been a real buzz around the group this week as they prepare to face the Championship's third-ranked team.
"Do you know what? It's brilliant. There is a brilliant atmosphere around the place this week. There is two squads preparing for two massive matches," said Malone.
"We know the guys that have been tasked to go away and prepare for Ealing. They have to do a bit of Toulouse stuff as well, but it is a massive match.
"Ealing are riding so high at the moment in the Championship.
"They will be well coached and well drilled and they will be a big challenge for us. It's two top level games across the squad, so there is great energy and a great buzz around the place looking forward to the game."
And in preparing for the game, Malone has been picking the brains of former Munster coach Ian Costello, whose Nottingham side were beaten by Ealing last week.
"I did speak to Cossie on Friday, he was a bit downcast alright after the result, but he was very helpful," said Malone.
"We've seen a reasonable bit of video footage of them and they have a few key players, it's a huge test for us."
