Reigning champions UL Bohemians will face Railway Union in the semi-finals of the Energia Women's All-Ireland Cup on 25 January after last weekend's win over Malone.

It will be a repeat of last year's semi-final where UL Bohemians were victorious and they went on to claim the trophy, only to lose the AIL decider to the Dubliners.

The Limerick women put that right when the two sides faced off in the league this time around, and UL Bohemians were comfortable 24-10 winners in Park Avenue.

UL Bohemians currently lie top of the league standings, with seven wins from seven. And they are four points clear of their great rivals, Railway Union, at the summit.

The league was on a break last weekend but the cup fixtures went ahead, and UL Bohemians were big 48-0 winners away to Malone at Gibson Park.

UL Bohemians had seven different try-scorers on the day with Sarah Quin scoring a double.

Erin Coll, Rachel Allen, Chloe Pearse, Laura O'Mahony, Niamh Kavanagh and Edel Murphy also added five-pointers.

UL Bohemians were already 62-0 winners at Malone on the opening day of the season, and they took a 31-0 lead into half-time before sealing another impressive win.
