The countdown has begun for the first ever Munster 'A' game at Bandon RFC, with tickets on sale this week for the visit of Stirling next month.

The red carpet will be rolled out by the West Cork junior club for their biggest representative match at the Oldchapel venue, as Munster get their B&I Cup campaign up and running against the Scottish side.

Tickets have already gone on sale and are available at the Munster Rugby ticket office in Musgrave Park and Thomond Park, priced at €10 for adults and €3 for juniors.

Special offers are available on family passes and to Munster season ticket holders, while 10-year season ticket holders and Munster Rugby Supporters Club members can gain entry free of charge.

According to Munster 'A' head coach Peter Malone, the squad are looking forward to visiting another of the provincial rugby clubs.

"It is great to get the chance to play in Bandon this year. In the last few years we have played in Tralee RFC, Nenagh, Temple Hill and Clonmel so to get a chance to play in front of another club is great," he said. "It gives us a chance to give something back to our supporters from all corners of the province."
