Garryowen will look to move clear of the relegation zone in Division 1A when they host fellow strugglers Young Munster at Dooradoyle this evening.

Both teams have just two wins from their five games this season and it will be a massive Limerick derby. Garryowen are eighth in the standings, they last played on November 3 when they were 27-3 losers against Cork Con at Temple Hill.

The 2017 champions are second, just one point behind Clontarf in the table, and their sole defeat this season came against Lansdowne at the end of October. Cork Con go to UCD tomorrow, and they will expect another victory at Belfield.

The other Cork team in Division 1A, UCC, welcome Clontarf to Mardyke tomorrow. UCC have yet to win from their five rounds of rugby back in the top tier.

Shannon are third and they are on the road this weekend, they are in College Park for a clash with Trinity.
