Keith Earls crowned Munster Player of the Year as Anthony Foley is remembered at awards ceremony
Keith Earls has been named as Munster's Player of the Year at an awards ceremony in Cork.
Earls claimed the accolade just a few days after his side's desperately disappointing Champions Cup defeat at the hands Racing 92, that ended hopes of an all-Ireland final.
The success for Earls means he is the first player to complete a clean sweep of awards at the ceremony, after bing crowned as Academy Player of the Year in 2007, Young Player of the Year in 2009 and now claiming the top prize.
Sammy Arnold claimed the Young Player of the Year prize at the Munster awards, where the late Anthony Foley was also remembered.
We are honoured to have Olive Foley here with us today as the room stands for a rousing ovation as she accepts the next award.— Munster Rugby (@Munsterrugby) April 25, 2018
