Munster's Interprovincial Series kicks of next weekend with the U-20 and U-19 squads travelling to Queens University on Friday, September 4 to take on their Ulster counterparts.

All squads - U-20s, U-19s, U-18 Clubs and U-18 Schools -took part in a five-week intense residential Talent Camp programme over the summer in a bid to hone their skills ahead of the inter-pro competitions.

The U-18 Clubs and U-20 squads recently entertained the Irish Exiles at the Mardyke, Cork in warm-up fixtures, with both sides winning in impressive fashion.

Last Monday the Munster U-19 squad edged out Connacht in a friendly at Coonagh.

The U-18 Clubs side were narrowly defeated last weekend by the Welsh U-18 and British Colleges U-19 champions Coleg y Cymoedd in Cardiff as they look ahead to their opening Interprovincial fixture taking on Leinster in Donnybrook.

The U-20s host Connacht in Rosbrien today (2.00) in a friendly.
