Ian Keatley will join Benetton Treviso next season, according to a report in the Limerick Leader.
The flyhalf has yet to start a game for Munster game this season and is behind Joey Carbery, JJ Hanrahan and Tyler Bleyendaal in the pecking order.
The former Belvedere College Senior Schools Cup winner has made 180 appearances for the province since his 2011 move from Connacht.
He will compete with Italian internationals Tommaso Allan and Ian McKinley for the number 10 shirt but will be invaluable to Treviso with that duo expected to go to the Rugby World Cup in the autumn.
The 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season. Jaco Taute is also out of contract and a return to South Africa looks on the cards for him.
