The 20-year-old Ben Healy and centre Rory Scannell are on standby to cover, with the youngster in line for just his second senior start if he is called upon at the La Défense Arena.
Munster will also use this morning's training session to test the fitness of flanker Tommy O'Donnell, winger Andrew Conway and full-back Mike Haley before naming their team at noon. Shane Daly is on standby to cover the back-three positions.
Racing are without Simon Zebo for the game, but otherwise have a relatively strong squad to choose from as they look to book their place in the last eight.
Six points clear of Munster, who are looking over their shoulders at Saracens a point back, Racing will top the pool with a win.
Leinster, meanwhile, will have to cope without James Ryan and Caelan Doris for the visit of Lyon to the RDS. Scott Fardy and Devin Toner are expected to start in the second-row, with Max Deegan continuing at No 8.
