European rivals seek return to winning ways

While Munster are kicking off against Southern Kings tonight, their Champions Cup quarter-final opponents, Edinburgh, also return to league action when they host Dragons at Murrayfield.

With just two points separating second from fifth place in Conference B, the Scottish side will seek to get back to winning ways and jump over Benetton Rugby into second place once again.

Last time out Edinburgh were shock 25-21 losers to Southern Kings. But prior to that they had won seven games in a row, a record that stretches back to the week after Munster inflicted a heavy 44-14 defeat on Richard Cockerill's side at Irish Independent Park.

Since then Edinburgh have claimed European wins against Newcastle (twice), Toulon and Montpellier, while they also did the double over Glasgow during Christmas.
