Cork Con go into the Christmas break in the All-Ireland League Division 1A with a five-point lead over Lansdowne after a brilliant start to 2018-'19.

Last weekend's 34-14 bonus-point win away to Terenure College was Cork Con's eighth win in nine games.

Garryowen are their nearest Munster challengers but 13 points behind in fourth, despite their 14-12 derby win away to UCC.

UCC are ninth while Young Munster are one place and four points clear of them. Shannon are seventh.

Highfield are three points in front of Cashel at the summit of Division 2A, with both sides having won eight from nine.

UL Bohs are fourth with Dolphin sixth, Old Crescent in seventh and Nenagh Ormond seven points clear of bottom. Sunday's Well are seventh in Division 2B. Midleton are four off the leaders in 2C; Bruff are third with Thomond second from bottom.
