Munster have confirmed that out-half Ian Keatley will join Benetton Treviso at the end of the season.

Keatley joined the southern province from Connacht ahead of the 2011/12 season and has made 180 appearances for Munster to date, scoring 1247 points.

The former Belvedere College pupil has been capped seven times by Ireland and is third on the list of all-time top points scorers in Guinness PRO14 (1,428 points) and fifth on the list of most games played (196 matches).

The 31-year-old started his career with his home province Leinster, but left after one season after failing to make a senior appearance.
