Chance to relive memories of 2006
How would you like to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Munster's first European Cup success with some of the legends who played that day in Cardiff?
In association with Killester Travel, Munster Rugby are planning a special trip to Spain in early June, where the players will take part in two rounds of golf with the travelling brigade of supporters.
The events are set for the five star, El Rompido Golf Resort, Huelva in Spain, which is located just 45 minutes from Faro, and will take place from June 2 to June 5.
Paul O'Connell, Anthony Foley, Peter Stringer and Ronan O'Gara are just some of the names already booked to take part, alongside special guests Peter Clohessy and Mick Galwey.
Munster claimed their first European Cup after years of heartbreak in 2006, when they beat Biarritz 23-19 at Millennium Stadium.
An early Sereli Bobo try was cancelled out when Trevor Halstead ran in Munster's first try; an O'Gara penalty and his conversion pushed the Reds clear.
And although French international Yachvili ended up with four penalties, it was Stringer's 31st-minute try that was the crucial score.
This trip will incorporate a special showing of that match with guest punditry from some of the winning Munster team. There will also be a quiz taking place over the weekend.
Prices are €695 for a golfer wishing to take part in the on course events, with €650 for those who want to experience everything else except for the golf.
