Christian Brothers College edged out Presentation Brothers College 5-3 in the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup final to claim their 30th Schools Senior Cup title at Irish Independent Park last weekend.

CBC secured the first points on the board after captain Scott Buckley powered his way over from close range off the back of a rolling maul in the 13th minute.

Pres captain Louis Bruce responded with an impressive penalty strike minutes later when taking advantage of an opportunity left of the posts.

Possession went back and forth between the two sides with errors costing both in the second half before CBC got the better of their Cork rivals to lift a record 30th Munster Schools Senior Cup trophy.
