UL Bohemian lifted the Women's All Ireland League trophy for the second year in a row following a 15-0 victory over Old Belvedere at Portlaoise RFC last weekend.

A first-half penalty try for UL Bohs combined with three points from Niamh Briggs gave the defending champions a 10-0 lead at half-time.

Briggs then found Laura Sheehan for the only try of the second half after landing a perfectly-weighted cross-field kick 17 minutes from the final whistle.

Old Belvedere were unable to secure points in the closing stages and it remained UL Bohs' day.

Camps take centre stage

Richmond got the better of Kilfeacle 28-6 to book their place in the Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Cup final this Sunday at Irish Independent Park against Cork Constitution (kick-off 3.0) after a deserving victory at Richmond Park.

The Munster Junior Bowl final takes place before the Junior Cup final at Irish Independent Park, featuring Bantry Bay and Bruff (kick-off 12.30).
